Deadly Fire Claims Life of Elderly Woman in Rukum West
In a tragic incident in Bamfikot Rural Municipality-3 of Rukum Pachim, a fire outbreak resulted in the death of a 70-year-old woman named Budi Kami. The fire started in the Dharpakha community forest and quickly spread to the Neupane village, engulfing three houses in flames.
The blaze, which occurred at approximately 2:30 pm, destroyed the homes of Yubaraj BK, Annate Sarki, and Bhudi Kami in Nepal Tole. Ward Chairman Tilbir KC reported that the elderly Kami lost her life while attempting to salvage belongings from her house as the fire approached.

The fire not only claimed a life but also resulted in the destruction of food supplies, clothing, and utensils inside the affected houses. Furthermore, the flames have now spread from the Dharpakha Community Forest to the Bhirikhola Community Forest and the Saikumari Community Forest.
