Two teenagers, aged 17 and 16, have been apprehended by authorities following a tragic shooting incident in St. Petersburg, Florida. The incident, which occurred on a Saturday, resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man named Marcus Rivers.

The shooting took place in the 100-BLK area of 80th Avenue Northeast around 1:18 p.m. Detectives investigating the case revealed that three individuals approached Rivers while he was seated in his car. Shots were fired during the encounter, leading to Rivers’ untimely demise. Additionally, a 17-year-old, identified as Tyvion Royal, sustained injuries in the incident and was rushed to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg. Reports indicate that Royal’s condition remains critical but stable.

Tyvion Royal, the injured teenager, has been charged with first-degree murder, robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Another suspect, a 16-year-old named Samarion Douglas, was also apprehended and faces charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.
