Reports suggest that Fong, accompanied by another individual, was traversing the vicinity of Selkirk Avenue and McKenzie Street when an altercation ensued with the individual believed to be McFayden. The altercation turned violent as Fong was shot, prompting the other individual to flee on foot while being pursued by the assailant, as recounted by the police.
