Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble share losses contribute to Dow's 150-point fall

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Tuesday morning with shares of Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble seeing the biggest declines for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.68% was most recently trading 154 points, or 0.5%, lower, as shares of Coca-Cola KO, -3.48% and Procter & Gamble PG, -3.75% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Coca-Cola’s shares have fallen $2.14, or 3.5%, while those of Procter & Gamble have fallen $4.48, or 3.2%, combining for a roughly 44-point drag on the Dow. UnitedHealth UNH, -2.23%, Walt Disney DIS, -2.35%, and Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -1.80% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.59-point swing.
