Human Remains Identified as Missing Hawkins County Man in Sullivan County
In a tragic turn of events, human remains discovered last week in Sullivan County have been confirmed to belong to Nicholas Massengill, a Hawkins County man who went missing in 2020.
The Kingsport Police Department made the grim announcement that the remains found on April 7 along Wadlow Gap Road in Sullivan County have been positively identified as those of Nicholas Massengill.

Nicholas Massengill was last seen in April 2020, walking away from Indian Path Hospital towards his residence in Hawkins County. He had been visiting a friend at the hospital before disappearing, leaving his loved ones worried and desperate for answers.
