19-year-old Sade Robinson’s disappearance in Milwaukee has shocked the community after she failed to show up for work at a local pizza restaurant on April 2. Her colleagues immediately grew concerned when she didn’t arrive for her scheduled shift, prompting a search for the missing college student.
Robinson had been looking forward to a first date with Maxwell Anderson, 33, at a seafood restaurant the night before her disappearance. The criminal complaint against Anderson reveals chilling details, as he now faces charges of homicide, mutilation of a corpse, and arson in connection with Robinson’s death.
Described as a vibrant and outgoing individual by her manager at the Pizza Shuttle, Robinson’s absence was highly unusual. Friends raised the alarm when she didn’t return calls or show up for work, leading to a police welfare check at her apartment, which turned up empty.
The investigation took a harrowing turn when Robinson’s burnt-out vehicle was discovered the morning after her date with Anderson. Despite the extensive fire damage, authorities were able to identify the outfit she had been wearing, as well as remnants of her phone in the car.
Further gruesome discoveries unfolded as police found a human leg on a beach in Warnimont Park, Cudahy, near Milwaukee. The leg, believed to belong to Robinson, was “sawn off” at the hip and identified through preliminary DNA testing. Additional remains, including a foot and what appeared to be human flesh, were also located in the vicinity.
Anderson faces serious charges, including first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson of property. Evidence linking him to the crimes includes surveillance footage, witness testimonies, and phone records. Authorities discovered blood in Robinson’s residence, as well as gasoline containers, further solidifying the case against Anderson.
As the investigation unfolds, Robinson’s family and friends mourn her loss and seek closure through a GoFundMe campaign for her memorial service. Originally from Mississippi, Robinson was on the brink of graduating from Milwaukee Area Technical College and pursuing a career in criminal justice. The community remembers her as a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, mourning the tragedy that has left a void in their hearts..
