The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, and the victim, identified as 31-year-old Avelino Medel II, was hospitalized but later released.
The Austin Police Department received a call about a disturbance at the Cliffs at Barton Creek located at 3050 Tamarron Blvd, across from Barton Creek Square Mall.
