Mysterious Death of Lake Villa Man Found Along Deep Lake Road Sparks Police Investigation
In a puzzling turn of events, the authorities in Antioch are delving into the perplexing case of a Lake Villa man whose lifeless body was discovered amidst shrubbery along Deep Lake Road. The incident, shrouded in mystery, has left investigators grappling for answers.
The unsettling discovery was made at approximately 6:02 a.m. on April 10, when Antioch Police responded to reports of an individual lying in a drainage ditch near the junction of Deep Lake Road and Route 173. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers stumbled upon a motorcycle stationed alongside the northbound lane of Deep Lake Road, just a short distance north of Route 173. Not far from the defunct vehicle, approximately 40 feet away, lay the motionless body of a middle-aged man, subsequently identified as 46-year-old William Webster from Lake Villa.
