The incident, which took place at approximately 7:36 p.m. on April 4, initially involved a 33-year-old male victim who was promptly transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
However, in a twist of events, another individual arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds, prompting further investigation by law enforcement. Through diligent detective work, authorities identified this individual as Javour Tabron, a 27-year-old male, who was subsequently named as a suspect in the shooting.
Tabron now faces a slew of charges, including Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited. Additionally, he is charged with Six Counts of Reckless Endangering, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Conspiracy in the First Degree, Providing a False Statement to Law Enforcement, and Five Counts of Criminal Mischief (Under $5,000).
After his arraignment in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas, Tabron was remanded to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, where he is currently being held on a hefty $197,500 cash-only bail.
