Police Investigating Two Separate Shootings in Windsor

Authorities in Windsor are currently looking into two separate shootings that took place on March 21. The incidents occurred in different locations within the city.

First Shooting Incident

The first shooting incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Lincoln Road, near Erie Street. According to reports, multiple gunshots were fired at a residential property in the area. Fortunately, there were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Second Shooting Incident

The second shooting incident took place shortly after 9 p.m. on Howard Avenue, near Hannah Street. Investigators discovered several shell casings at the scene after shots were fired at another home. Again, no injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

Possible Connection and Vehicle of Interest

The Major Crimes Unit handling the investigation believe that the two incidents are targeted and may be linked in some way. A dark SUV spotted in the vicinity of Howard Avenue during the time of the shooting has been identified as a vehicle of interest in the case.

Authorities are urging residents in both areas to review any surveillance or dashcam footage they may have from the evening of March 21, between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., for potential evidence that could assist in the investigation.
