Authorities in Wausau, Wisconsin, are actively searching for a man believed to be responsible for a shooting incident that occurred on the east side of the city in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Incident Details
The Wausau Police Department received a distress call at approximately 2:30 a.m. from a resident on the 200 block of N 7th St reporting that their acquaintance had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg following a heated altercation with an individual identified as 36-year-old Zach Tesky.
Victim’s Condition
The victim was swiftly transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Law enforcement recovered the firearm used in the attack at the scene.
Suspect Description
Authorities are on the lookout for Tesky, described as a 6-foot-tall, 180-pound bald man. He was last seen donning a blue jacket with white sleeves and blue jeans. Tesky may be operating a silver 2003 Ford F150 bearing Wisconsin disabled plates numbered 37843DS, last spotted heading north on Hwy 47 near Rhinelander at 8:45 a.m.
