Intel, Goldman Sachs share losses contribute to Dow's nearly 225-point fall

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Wednesday afternoon with shares of Intel and Goldman Sachs facing the biggest setback for the index. The Dow DJIA, -1.02% was most recently trading 222 points, or 0.7%, lower, as shares of Intel INTC, -5.37% and Goldman Sachs GS, -2.34% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Intel’s shares have fallen $2.21 (5.1%) while those of Goldman Sachs have declined $6.67, or 2.1%, combining for a roughly 58-point drag on the Dow. JPMorgan Chase JPM, -2.42%, American Express AXP, -1.95%, and Honeywell International Inc. HON, -1.71% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
