Dow's nearly 200-point fall led by losses for shares of Home Depot, Walmart

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Tuesday morning with shares of Home Depot and Walmart facing the biggest drops for the index. Shares of Home Depot HD, -2.00% and Walmart WMT, -2.02% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.11% was most recently trading 192 points, or 0.6%, lower. Home Depot’s shares have declined $9.46 (3.1%) while those of Walmart have fallen $2.82 (2.3%), combining for an approximately 81-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.16%, 3M MMM, -0.77%, undefined Honeywell International Inc. HON, -0.30%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
