Dow's 162-point jump led by gains in shares of IBM, UnitedHealth

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Monday morning with shares of IBM and UnitedHealth leading the way for the price-weighted average. Shares of IBM IBM, +1.35% and UnitedHealth UNH, +1.13% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.07% was most recently trading 162 points, or 0.5%, higher. IBM’s shares are up $2.41 (1.7%) while those of UnitedHealth have climbed $7.83, or 1.6%, combining for an approximately 67-point boost for the Dow. Travelers TRV, +1.43%, Visa V, +0.67%, undefined Goldman Sachs GS, +0.59% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.59-point swing.
